The Refund and Returns Policy
By executing a purchase on print.ontrailmarketing.com (the "Site"), you ("Customer," "Buyer," or "You") are entering into a legally binding contractual agreement with OnTrail Print Supply ("Company," "We," "Us," or "Our"). If you do not unequivocally agree to these Terms of Sale, you are strictly prohibited from finalizing your transaction.
1. Absolute Finality of Custom Orders (No Buyer’s Remorse)
All merchandise sold through the Site is manufactured completely on-demand, utilizing complex automation to embed custom graphic files onto apparel, drinkware, stationery, and physical signage substrates. Consequently, all sales are final. We do not hold inventory, nor do we stock mass-produced retail variants. We cannot and will not process returns, reversals, credits, modifications, or physical exchanges due to customer oversight, errors, or a change of heart.
You bear exclusive legal and financial responsibility for ensuring the precision of your order data prior to checkout. No refunds or replacements will be granted under any circumstances for:
- Selection of incorrect product sizing, garment cuts, or structural fits (comprehensive size specifications are explicitly detailed on every product page).
- Selection of incorrect item colors, variants, or material finishes.
- Submission of typographical errors, spelling mistakes, or grammatical oversights in custom names or text strings.
- Submission of low-resolution, blurry, pixelated, color-inaccurate, or improperly scaled/cropped image and logo assets.
- Customer preference shifts or project cancellations after an invoice has been settled.
2. Permissible Manufacturing Variances and Tolerances
Due to the industrial nature of automated print-on-demand processing, digital mockups displayed on screens are approximate simulations. By purchasing, you acknowledge and agree to the following standard industry variances, which do not qualify as defects:
- Sizing Variances: Physical garment dimensions may vary by up to one inch (1") from the published sizing chart measurements.
- Color Variances: Exact matching of digital RGB monitor displays to physical CMYK or direct-to-garment (DTG) ink pigments is technically impossible. Minor hue, saturation, and contrast variations are normal.
- Print Placement: Physical print alignment may shift up to 0.5 inches from the digital mockup representation.
3. Defective, Broken, or Missing Shipments
We maintain rigorous quality standards. If an item arrives structurally compromised or exhibits a severe, unresolvable manufacturing deviation, we will issue a replacement item or a full refund at our sole financial discretion. To qualify for a claim, the item must display:
- Physical Fractures or Damage: Cracked drinkware, torn apparel seams, broken zippers, or snapped signage components sustained prior to delivery.
- Catastrophic Print Malfunctions: Incorrect artwork orientation, completely missing graphic layers, or severe ink bleeding.
- Fulfillment Errors: Receiving an entirely different product category, physical size, or structural model than what is explicitly displayed on your purchase invoice.
4. Formal Claims Filing Protocol
To initiate an official claim for a defective or damaged product, you must strictly adhere to this mandatory verification process within twenty (20) calendar days of the carrier's documented delivery timestamp. Failure to submit within this window constitutes an absolute waiver of your right to a claim:
- Transmit an explicit written notification to info@ontrailmarketing.com.
- Input your exact Order Number directly into the email subject line.
- Attach at least two (2) high-resolution, sharply focused, well-lit digital photographs documenting the structural defect or the specific printing error. For apparel size disputes, you must include a photograph of the garment lying completely flat on a hard surface with a physical tape measure placed over the problematic dimensions.
DO NOT ship physical merchandise back to the return address listed on the mailing label. Those addresses belong to decentralized fulfillment warehouses and are legally unequipped to audit claims, manage inventory, or issue financial adjustments. Unauthorized returns will be discarded and forfeit all refund eligibility.
5. Order Allocation and Cancellation Window
Our digital infrastructure routes design assets directly to automated printing queues immediately upon payment authorization. You may request an order cancellation by emailing us at info@ontrailmarketing.com. However, if our automated manufacturing partner has transitioned the order status to "In Production," the order cannot be intercepted, altered, halted, or refunded. No exceptions will be granted.
6. Shipping Carriers and Force Majeure
Shipping timelines displayed at checkout are reasonable operational estimates, not binding guarantees. OnTrail Print Supply utilizes third-party logistics infrastructure (including USPS, UPS, FedEx, or DHL). Once a package is transferred to a carrier, physical custody passes to that carrier. We are not legally or financially liable for shipping delays, delivery routing errors, or missed deadlines caused by severe weather events, labor strikes, customs clearances, national holidays, or localized infrastructure failures.
7. Chargeback Restrictions and Legal Abuse Clause
By finalizing your purchase, you agree that you will not initiate fraudulent credit card chargebacks, PayPal disputes, or bank reversals for orders that are delayed in transit, orders where you selected the incorrect size/color, or orders where you failed to comply with the Formal Claims Filing Protocol outlined in Section 4.
If you execute an unauthorized chargeback or dispute for a custom product that matches your invoice parameters, you agree to indemnify OnTrail Print Supply for the full invoice value, plus all administrative chargeback fees ($15–$50 per instance), attorney costs, and collection fees incurred while defending our contract.
8. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
This Agreement, and all disputes arising directly from transactions on this Site, shall be governed by, construed, and enforced exclusively in accordance with the laws of the更改 Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding relating to this policy must be brought exclusively in a court of competent jurisdiction located in Central Pennsylvania.
